Animal Welfare Extends From Equine To Elephants - Supporting Inaugural Ball

We all know of or have witnessed the teachings of esteemed animal behaviouristAndrew Mclean. With his successful family run organisations Equitation Science International and theAEBC the Human Elephant Learning Programs ( a passion project for Andrew) which was founded in 2009 involves a team of volunteers who are continuing to improve the welfare of working elephants in Asia. We are proud to be supporting the progressive foundation and we ask that you join us at their first inaugural event on June 17th at the Mornington Racecourse. Tickets can be purchased below.

Be educated and entertained by Founder of H-ELP Andrew Mclean who will provide insight into the history, achievements and goals of the foundation.

H-ELP aims to and has well and truly started improving the welfare of working elephants, through the systematic application of humane, evidence based training. By doing this we will also improve the welfare and safety of elephant handlers and trainers.

The first inaugural charity dinner will be a fundraiser held at the newly renovated 'Peninsula Room' at the Mornington Racecourse which 100% proceeds will assist in reaching our goal of raising $10,000 for our next Mahout workshop in India.

Discover the future project of H-ELP with event sponsors Peter Horobin Saddlery, who along with Dr Andrew Mclean, will be taking on the challenge of designing a saddle to be ridden in for anti poaching elephants. Peter Horobin, renowned saddle maker will present the ideas behind the design and how it can assist in elephant welfare.
